Ekran-R is a multiband portable jammer designed for use by police and national security personnel. The device can be deployed anywhere with access to mains power and mounted on a vehicle. The system emits RF on the same frequency as the target transmitting source with a total aggregated power of 550 W, preventing the target cell phones' or other RF devices' typical reception path.

The device automatically operates across relevant frequency bands when cellular networks are being jammed. Additionally, using real-time measurements of the up-link RF signals from nearby cellular base stations, we have implemented channel-selective jamming. This considerably enhances system performance by enabling the suppression of up to 16 of the strongest carrier signals coming from various cellular networks.
