COFDM VIDEO AND VOICE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
Video and voice data collection, transmission, and recording system • Mod. UVTS-100
UVTS-100 CODFM Based Video and Voice Transmission System is the ideal solution for collecting, transmitting, and recording video and voice data from a compact, body-worn transmitter to a central receiver unit, even at high speeds of up to 180 kmph. This configuration includes four portable transmitters and a four-channel receiver.

UVTS-100 is designed to operate even in non-line-of-sight conditions, ensuring reliable transmission with digital encryption (AES-128) and COFDM modulation. It operates on a wide range of frequencies (170-860 MHz) with bandwidth options of 2/4/8 MHz, while maintaining high-quality DVB-T video with MPEG-2 compression at 25 frames per second. The device also provides D1 image quality, ensuring clarity in video and audio recordings. With its IP-66 ruggedized case, this system is built to last in harsh environments.
RECEIVER
The receiver unit is designed to accommodate up to four receive channels within a frequency range of 170-860 MHz. With a sensitivity of -94 dBm, this unit is capable of recording video in H.264 format. It features a USB 2.0 port for easy connectivity to external memory sticks, and it can be powered by either DC 12V or 220 VAC. The unit consumes 30 W of power and can operate within a temperature range of 5 - 50 degrees C. With a weight of 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs.), it is a lightweight and versatile option for receiving and recording video signals.
TRANSMITTER
The UVTS-100 Transmitter is a versatile unit capable of utilizing QPSK, 16QAM, and 64 QAM modulations, as well as a range of FEC values, including 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8. With protection bandwidth options of 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32, this transmitter is capable of delivering high-quality video and audio signals. It accepts AV input with 75 Ohm PAL video compression in MPEG-2 format. The transmitter's frequencies range from 300-400 MHz to 760-860 MHz. It is powered by a 12V power supply and features an SMA antenna connector, outputting 23 dBm (or 33 dBm with optional amplifier). The transmitter operates in temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 degrees C, with humidity up to 95% non-condensing. Measuring 105 x 62 x 23 mm, the UVTS-100 is a compact and efficient option for transmitting video signals.
TECHNOLOGY
CODFM (Coherent Optical Differential Frequency Modulation) is a type of modulation used in optical communication systems for the transmission of video and voice signals. This technique is a combination of optical coherent detection and differential frequency modulation.

In CODFM, the input signal is modulated onto an optical carrier wave using differential frequency modulation. The carrier wave is then transmitted through an optical fiber, where it undergoes attenuation and dispersion. At the receiver end, the signal is detected using coherent detection, which allows for the recovery of the original signal.

CODFM-based transmission systems have several advantages over other techniques. One advantage is the high spectral efficiency, which allows for the transmission of large amounts of data over a single channel. Another advantage is the robustness of the system against noise and interference, which ensures high-quality transmission even in challenging environments.

Additionally, CODFM-based systems are highly scalable and can be easily adapted to different applications and network configurations. They can also support long transmission distances, making them suitable for use in wide-area networks and for interconnecting data centers.
