HANDHELD ARFCN-BASED RECEIVER
Mod. MPT-900 and MPT-800
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The MPT-900 receiver is designed to automatically tune itself to a predetermined cellular phone transmission channel, and then convert the incoming signal strength into a numerical value that corresponds to the distance from the transmitter. This allows for accurate detection of the location of the transmitting object.

User can easily manage MPT-900 receiver for GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks with your Android smartphone, thanks to its Bluetooth interface. This user-friendly device offers two types of feedback options: you can choose to receive audio feedback through a headset or through the built-in speaker of your phone. This allows for easy and convenient monitoring of the receiver's performance.

CHANNEL SETUP
To input a channel number, tap the green entry line and use the pop-up keyboard to enter the number. The application will automatically detect the frequency band and mobile standard (GSM/UMTS/LTE) based on the channel number and highlight it for you. Once you've selected the channel number, press "Setup."
RECEIVER READINGS
Signal level in dBm is displayed digitally and in a form of vertical bars. The left bar (colored blue) corresponds to signal levels between -100 and- 80 dBm, green bar - between -80 and -60 dBm, yellow bar - between -60 and -40dBm and red bar on the right, - between -40 and -20 dBm. History graph (screen bottom) indicates signal level variation on time axis
OUTPUT OPTIONS
Audio Types menu allows user to choose one of the following options: voice, tone, or pulse. If the signal level falls below the sensitivity threshold ("No Signal"), the receiver will generate tone pulses at 1-second intervals, regardless of the selected audio output option. This confirms the receiver is on and the BT connection is active
Some frequency bands and mobile standards have overlapping channels numbering (for example, channels 975…1023 are used in both GSM-900 and UMTS-1800). In this case application highlights both options, one of them must be selected.
